Yes, I know it's mid-January. But Saturday was the first day that we took the kidlets out sledding. Bundle had a blast and well Kiki did what Kiki does best, just sat around looking pretty:

And in true fashion the day wasn't complete without an "incident." So, there I was standing at the bottom of the sledding hill, Kiki on my hip, at least 50 feet away from where everyone was stopping. MC went to the car to get my camera. All of the sudden I hear, "look out!" I look up and a large'equse 40 year old man is flying towards me on what might as well been a twin Aerobed. I looked to see where Bundle was and he was ahead of us making his way to the sledding hill where there were some toddlers playing. I knew I didn't have time to move. I switched Kiki to the front of me and held on for dear life. The dude hits me and I land flat on my back. Bundle yells, "holy mackeral!" I get up he says, "are you ok? Good thing you held onto your baby." And makes his way back up the hill. Yeah, thanks buddy. He was lucky that I was too stunned to go all Ninja on him. Thankfully, Kiki and Bundle were totally fine. We made our way to the next little hill and had a fine time!
oh, p.s. Yes, that's a helmet on Bundle. MC and I decided that we want to protect our little dude's brain cells the best we can. I am counting on him getting a scholarship to Harvard Business school for his smarts or a football scholarship would be nice, too;)
